WBB Advances to FINAL FOUR - Will face Delta tomorrow
The DVC Women's Basketball team defeated the Ventura College Pirates tonight, 59-57 and are headed to the CCCAA State Final 4. The Vikings were led by Sierra Smith, who had 22 points, 2 steals and 4 rebounds and Daisha Abdelkader led the Vikes in assists with 11. Leilani Moncrease finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Zahria Hendrix finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Semifinal game will be tomorrow, vs. Big 8 rival, San Joaquin Delta College. The winner of tomorrow's game will play for the State Championship Sunday. Tip off is set for 5:00pm.
