Hendrix wins Conference MVP, 3 more named to First Team
The DVC Women's Basketball, coming off of a historic regular season, racked up some very impressive conference awards.
The Vikes had 3 players named to the Big 8 Conference First Team; Forward Leilani Moncrease, Guard Daisha Abdelkader, and Guard Jahnay Anderson.
Zahria Hendrix was named the Conference MVP, making this the 3rd in a row for DVC and the 5th in head coach Ramaundo Vaughn's 9 year tenure.
The Vikings were the 2018-2019 Conference Champions, for the second year in a row.
DVC will look to continue their success in the CCCAA State Playoffs which start this week.
