
Women's Basketball moves to 19-0 in big win over SRJC
The DVC Women's Basketball team stays undefeated on the season by defeating Santa Rosa Junior College, 72-50.
The Vikings 22 point victory also keeps the Vikes, No. 2 in the state, at the top of the Big 8 Conference.
The Vikings spent the first 4 weeks of the season ranked No. 2 in the State according to the CCCWBCA Weekly Poll until Moorepark lost and the Vikings moved into the No. 1 spot on December 31st.
The Vikings remain undefeated, however, Moorepark moved ahead of the Vikes in the most recent poll from the CCCSIA (Sports Information Association).
Regardless of rankings and records, the Vikings choose to make their presence known on the court.
In the win vs. the Bear Cubs on Friday, the Vikes had 4 players in double digit scoring, which seems to be a theme each game.
The Vikings currently have 6 players averaging double digit scoring each game.
DVC is coming off of a huge win over Big 8 foe, San Joaquin Delta, who DVC was tied for 1st place going into the game.
The Vikings beat the mustangs by 17 points, in another huge team effort.
The Vikings will take on Modesto Junior College on Tuesday at MJC. Tip off is set for 7:30pm.
