Julia Gonzalez wins NorCal Title, Men finish in 7th, all advance to state
Julia Gonzalez is the 2018 NorCal Cross Country Champion, running the race in 19:25.1.
The Vikings Gaby (Emily) Orellana finished 4th overall and all 4 women for the Vikes advanced to the state championships.
The Men finished in 7th place overall at the NorCal Championships and advanced to the state championships as a team.
Jordan Bandtell (22:08.6) placed 26th in the race and Logan McNamar (22:22.9) finished in 34th overall.
The Vikings had 6 runners finish in the top 50 and were edged out of 6th place by Modesto by 1 point.
The State Championships will take place on November 17th at Woodward Park in Fresno, Ca.
