Football routes Feather River, 63-21
In a dominating performance, Diablo Valley College (DVC) cruised to a resounding 63-21 victory over Feather River at Viking Stadium on September 20, 2024. From the start, DVC showcased its offensive firepower and defensive prowess, quickly erasing Feather River's early 7-0 lead with three consecutive touchdowns in the first quarter.
Teddy Booras led the charge with three touchdown passes, including a 61-yard bomb to Jake Calcagno and a 32-yard strike to David Pierro. Booras also demonstrated his versatility with a 27-yard touchdown run, capping off a near-flawless first half for DVC, which saw them enter the break with a commanding 49-7 lead.
The Vikings' ground game was equally impressive, spearheaded by Sean Davis, who rushed for 109 yards on just four carries, scoring two long touchdowns of 45 and 56 yards. The DVC defense stifled Feather River throughout the game, holding them to just 321 total yards and forcing a critical interception by Charles Cox.
Despite Feather River's best efforts, including two rushing touchdowns from Jalen Ward, DVC's dominance on both sides of the ball was too much to overcome. DVC improved to 2-1 on the season and will travel to Sacramento next weekend to take on Sac City.
