Vikings fall to No. 1 Fresno City College

The DVC Women's Soccer team lost to No. 1 in the State, Fresno City College, 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Vikings fell behind 3-0 at the half after 3 early goals by the Rams, Megan Galvan (10th minute), Megan Galvan (20th minute) and Kassie Christensen (43rd minute).

The second half opened with another goal in the 51st minute by Mia Ontiveros, making the score 4-0. 

The Vikings would play shut out defense the rest of the game and their lone goal came in the 59th minute by Julia Richardson-Castaneda. 

DVC's next game is Friday, Sept. 27th at American River College.
