Vikes tie Falcons, 1-1

The DVC Women's Socce team tied Solano College, 1-1 on Tuesday. 

The Vikings took an early lead in the 1st half when Julia Richardson-Castaneda scored with the assist from Kaci Trujillo in the 26th minute. 

Solano responded in the 66th minute, tieing the game at 1-1. 

The Vikes had numerous shots on goal in the 2nd half but couldn't finish. 

The Vikes defense was solid with only allowing 4 shots on goal, 3 of which GK, Katey Wohler, saved.

 

The Vikings will take on City College of San Francisco Friday, Sept 6th at 4:00pm.
