3 Men's Basketball players named to Big 8 Conference Teams
The Men’s Basketball team finished the season 9-16 with three players who received conference honors.
Sophomores Adeola Morren and Anthony Haskett were named to the Big 8 Conference All-Academic 1st Team. Both were outstanding players as well as students and set a great example for their teammates.
Morren has a 4.0GPA and has received many academic accolades in his tenure as a Vikings. This season for the Vikes, Morren played in 21 games, averaging 8.2 rebounds per game. Haskett averaged 12.6 points per game this season for the Vikes.
Darius Jackson was named to the Big 8 Conference Honorable Mention team. Jackson averaged 15.2 ppg for the Vikes this season 40.9% from the field and 32% from beyond the arch, while averaging 3.5 assists per game as well.
