The DVC Men's Basketball team, (8-14 overall, 4-9 in conference) lost two conference games last week and are looking to finish the Big 8 strong with just 3 games left.
The Vikings lost to American River College on Tuesday (2/5), 87-63.
DVC trailed the Beavers by 12 at the half and couldn't come back from the deficit in the 2nd half, losing by 24.
The Vikes were led by Mitchell Smith who was 9-19 with 25 points on the night, hitting 6 three's from beyond the arch.
Adeola Morren led the Vikes on the boards with 7 and Anthony Haskett was 4-5 on the night, finishing with 12 points.
The Vikings took on Sacramento City College on Friday in Sacramento.
The Vikings trailed by 12 at the half and were outscore by 21 in the second half, which led to the 84-51 loss.
Anthony Haskett led the Vikings with 22 points, 18 of which came from beyond the arch and 5 rebounds.
The Vikings take on Delta College on Thursday, Feb 14th at 7:30pm. The Vikings finish Big 8 Conference play with an away game at SRJC 2/19 and a home game vs. MJC on 2/22.
