The DVC Baseball team split their series with fellow 4CD member, Los Medanos College.
Game one: W, 9-1
The Vikings started Game 1 with their bats on fire, scoring 7 runs in the first 2 innings of the game. The Mustangs responded with their only run of the game in the bottom of the 2nd.
The Vikings responded with 2 more runs in the top of the 4th and the top of the 7th.
Short stop, Nick Simmons led the Vikes at the plate going 2-4 with 3 RBI's and a walk.
Game two: L, 3-5
The Vikings were ahead, 2-0 when LMC homered to left to make the score 2-1.
The Vikes Kajlid Johnson responded with a solo homer of his own in the bottom of the 5th, putting the Vikes ahead 3-1.
From then on, it was all Mustangs who scored 2 runs in the 6th to tie the game, 3-3.
In the top of the 7th, the Mustangs took the lead for good on a 2-run homer by Taylor Maldonado to seal the win.
