Women's Basketball competed in the LA Harbor Round-Robin Tournament in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Vikings finished the weekend 2-1 with wins over Chaffey and Southwestern and a loss to Pasadena City.
DVC 82 - Chaffey 43
The Vikings were led by Ra'Anna Bey who finished with a game high 20 points and 9 steals. Nia Johnson finished with 8 rebounds and 14 points. The Vikings finished with 5 players scoring in double digits.
DVC 96 - Southwestern - 58
DVC was led by Nia Johnson who finished the game with a triple-double - 31 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals. J'la Cotton had 10 points and 8 rebounds for the Vikes and Ukiah Ware finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
DVC 55 - Pasadena 76
The Vikings (10-2) suffered only their second loss of the season to Pasadena City College. Ra'Anna Bey led the Vikings with 20 points, hitting 3 three's in the game. J'la Cotton finished the game with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Bey and Cotton combined for 34 of the Vikings 55 points.
The Vikings will start Big 8 Conference play on Dec 28th at Santa Rosa Junior College.
