The DVC Men's Water Polo team defeated Sierra College 16-14 on Saturday to win the 2019 Big 8 Conference Championship tournament.
The Vikings defeated Modesto 13-7 on Friday & Sierra College defeated ARC to advance to the Championship game.
Berch Parker & Matt Peterson led the Vikes with 4 goals each and Thomas Baier & Jack Brown each had 3 goals in the Championship game.
The Vikings led the Wolverines, 13-9 going into the last quarter.
The Wolverines scored 5 goals but the Vikes own 3 goals were enough to hold off the final SC push to win the 2019 Big 8 Conference Championship Tournament.
