Swim's Sky Griffin sets new meed record at Miyashiro Invitational
Sophomore Sky Griffin set a new meet record for the 100 Butterly at the 2nd Annual Bobby Miyashiro Invitational. Griffin was entered with a time of 1:01.66 and despite cold, rainy weather and a difficult event schedule she was able to record a personal best for the season. Griffin swam a 1:02.77 in prelims and came back to the finals to swim a 1:00.68, beating the previous record of 1:00.71 held by Camryn Bussey of Sierra College. Sky is currently ranked 8th in the state for the 100 Butterfly and 6th in state for the 200 Butterfly.
