Track & Field preparing for 3C2A Championships
The DVC Track & Field team is competing in the 3C2A Championship Meet this weekend at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. The team features a wide array of athletes competing in multiple events. Ash Rosati will compete in the Discus and Shot Put, while Gigi Myer and Desie Armstrong will showcase their talents in the Long Jump, with Desie also competing in the 100m. Dominic Mills will represent the team in the High Jump.
Middle-distance runners Harrison Hubbard and Alan Solari will compete in the 800m, with Harrison also joining the 4x400 relay team. Sprinters include Sean Davis, Tramayne Shivers, Ameen Tokhi, and Imannul Hunter in the 4x100 relay, with Tramayne also participating in the 4x400 relay. Ameen will run the 100m as well. The 4x400 relay team will be bolstered by the efforts of Aydin Abubakar and Jaden Cutliff. Lastly, Jordan Maldonado will compete in the 400m hurdles.
