The Vikings finished the Riverside Tournament, 1-3 with their win coming in the last game of the tournament over Rio Hondo, 13-7. In the first game of the tourament, Vikings lost to Long Beach, 17-11. Matt Peterson led the offense for DVC with 5 goals in the loss.
Second game of the tournament, DVC lost to Cerritos, 15-6. Four different players added goals for the Vikes, including Berch Parker (2), Tommy Baier (2), Joshua Stridiron, and Matt Peterson.
The Vikes took on Grossmont in the 3rd game of the weekend with the Griffins defeating the Vieks, 14-10. Grossmont scored the first 7 goals of the game and the Vikes answered with 8 out of the next 10 goals scored in the game. It was all Grossmont in the 4th quarter, ending the game with 5 goals in the last quarter.
The final game of the weekend for the Vikings was vs. Rio Hondo by a score of 13-7. Tommy Baier scored 4 goals in the 1st quarter and finished with 5 in the game and Matt Peterson finished with 4 goals for the Vikes.
