The Vikings went 2-2 in their first weekend of competition for the 2018 season.
Day one of the Nyquist Tournament brought two losses for the Vikes, (Game 1 vs. Merced College L, 20-10 & Game 2 vs. West Valley L, 18-6).
However, the Vikes bounced back on day 2 of the tournament with two wins, (Game 3 vs. West Valley W, 23-4 & Game 4 vs. Ohlone W, 18-13).
Their offense was rolling on day two with both wins combining for 41 goals scored on the day.
The Vikings begin Big 8 Conference play this week with a road trip to Santa Rosa Junior College to take on the Bear Cubs at 5:00pm.
