Jones leads Vikings powerful offense to undefeated start in Big 8 Conference play

The Vikings, currently 10-3, were coming off a pre-season record of 7-3 and were looking to prove they are once again, one of the top teams to beat in Northern California starting Big 8 Conference play. Since their first conference game, DVC has out-scored their opponents by 81 points combined and are led by Doris Jones. She has been the Vikings leading scorer, averaging 19.7 points per game, with a season high 30 points vs. Cosumnes River College Tuesday night. The Vikings have a well-rounded offense with three other players averaging double digits per game as well, Kendra Jeuitt averaging 12.9 PPG, Antuanisha Wright averaging 12.6 PPG, and Jahnay Anderson averaging 12.2 PPG with 46 threes' so far on the season. DVC is currently 3-0 in the Big 8 and look to continue their success with a big game in Rocklin tomorrow vs. Sierra College.
