2024 Women's Tennis Preview

The Women’s tennis team has only freshmen this year and the coaches are excited to help provide them a competitive playing environment. Alicia Palma will make her debut and use her knowledge and athleticism from the DVC Soccer team to gain an edge over her opponents.

This season the Women’s Tennis Team also has three international players. Miona Ayabe from Japan, Sawa Tanaka from Indonesia, and Aileen Juslie from Indonesia are giving their all-in practice every day so be on the lookout for these aces! Zinnia Sulymankhel and Rainy Nguyen are the last of the freshmen on the Women’s Tennis Team and they are excited to show what they’ve got! Both plans to push themselves, have fun, and win.

The coaches are expecting our Women’s team to work hard, learn, and have fun on this new adventure. Even so, look out because these coaches will ensure these young athletes prove that just because they’re new doesn’t mean they should be underestimated.

Watch out because these ladies will shake up the whole Big 8 Conference in Ojai this April. Go Vikings!
