WTEN Lady Vikes move to 7-1

DVC Women's Tennis defeted ARC and it came down to the last match 5-4. The Vikings have an overall record of 7-1 & Big 8 Conference record of 5-0. The Vikings played Sierra today in Rocklin and the Wolverines are also undefeated in conference play.
 
Aysha is undefeated 8-0 in dual matches & 5-0 in Big 8 but lost in the semifinals at the MJC tournament a month ago. She went 1-1 in the Singles Flight 1 Division & now is 9-1 overall.
 
The Vikes have several freshmen who are doing great as well. Ran Homma (Japan) is 8-0 dual matches, 5-0 in conference & went 2-1 at MJC tournament where she lost in the Flight 3 finals & now 10-1 overall.
 
Haena So (SoCal) is 7-1 in dual matches, 5-0 in conference and 7-2 overall.
 
Margot Smets (Belgium) is 6-2 in dual matches, 4-1 in conference and 7-3 overall.
 
Eimy Gallardo (Mt. Diablo) is 4-5 in dual matches, 3-2 in conference and went 2-1 at the MJC tournament where she lost in the Flight 5 finals. She has an overall record of 6-6.
 
For doubles Aysha & Ran are undefeated in conference at 5-0 and went 2-1 at the MJC tournament before withdrawing from the Flight 1 finals due to hip injury (Ran). Their overall record is 8-1.
