Vikings defeat the MJC Pirates 2-1 in Big 8 Conference match up

The Vikings defeated MJC this afternoon 2-1. The Pirates took an early lead in the 5th minute of the game with a goal by Alexa Mayen. Marjan Haydaree tied the game in the 25th minute and Vane Ruvalcaba scored the game winner in the 60th minute. The Vikings are now 3-2 in conference and will play a non-conference make up game vs. Cabrillo at home on Thursday, September 27th.
