The Vikings defeated the West Valley College Vikings 2-1 in a very competitive and physical match that included 3 yellow cards, (2 for West Valley, 1 for DVC).
West Valley's Alex Spatola scored the first goal of the game with an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute of the game.
Marjan Haydaree was close beind her with DVC's first goal of the game right before the half, in the 40th minute. Haydaree would go on to score the only goal of the 2nd half and a spectatular goal at that, the eventual game winner, in the 72nd minute.
