DVC Soccer keeps on rolling

VIKINGS SOCCER KEEPS ROLLING The first-place DVC women's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over visiting Sacramento City in the Big 8 on a rainy Friday. Cameron Chan staked the Vikings (13-1-4, 8-1-4) to a 1-0 lead with a goal in the third minute assisted by Karla Ramos. Ramos, Noelle Lemos and Megan Melara rounded out the scoring with unassisted goals. DVC keepers Katie McGlaughlin and Lula Valdivia each played 45 minutes without having to make a save. With three conference games remaining, the Vikings will host tough San Joaquin Delta on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
