Cross Country

We’re excited to highlight the DVC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country teams as the first fall sport for 2023. With two races down and in the books the season is off to a good start. Coach Shelly Pierson hope to eventually have all the student-athletes prepared for the Big 8 Conference Championships in October. It has always been a hope for Coach Pierson to have both teams qualify for not only the NorCal Championships but also the CCCAA State Championships. With both teams primarily consisting of freshmen student-athletes, Coach Pierson can see that hope turning into reality with all the hard work her teams put in every day in practice.

Come out and support our cross country teams this Friday, 9/22 for the George Brooks Memorial (NorCal Preview) at Hidden Lakes Park in Martinez. The women’s event will start at 10:00am and the men will start at 10:45am. See you out on the course and good luck to both teams!
