DVC announces the 2016 Football Schedule
DVC FOOTBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
The Diablo Valley football team will confront another tough schedule in the fall, beginning with a matchup against National-NorCal co-champion American River on Friday, Sept. 2.
The Vikings, who finished 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the powerful National-Bay 6, just missing a bowl berth, will travel to National-Valley and Bulldog Bowl champion Chabot in week two. The Vikings bested visiting Chabot 26-10 last season.
The schedule also includes an attractive home date against CCSF on Oct. 14, and a nonconference home game against district foe Contra Costa on Nov. 4.
The Comets were co-champions of the American-Pacific 7 last season.
