Austin Kiraly enters his 3rd season with the Diablo Valley College football program in 2023, serving the past 2 seasons as an Offensive Assistant and Diablo Valley College - Academic Support Center Program Assistant and Athletics Liaison.
 
Prior to his time at DVC, Coach Kiraly spent 1 season at Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division 3 program in Alpine, TX as the Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator. Coach Kiraly spent three seasons (2017-2019) at Butte College, a junior college program in Oroville, CA, as Offensive Line Coach from 2018-2019, and as the Defensive Ends Coach in 2017. He also coached the Throwers (Shot Put/Discus/Hammer) at Butte College for the 2019 and 2020 Track seasons. Kiraly brings experience coaching at the high school and collegiate levels, previously working as a Graduate Assistant - Tight Ends Coach at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire (UWEC), Varsity Offensive Line Coach/Offensive Coordinator from 2014-2015 at James Madison Memorial High School (Madison, WI), and Junior Varsity Offensive Line/Defensive Line Coach from 2007-2008 at Paradise High School (Paradise, CA). He played Center at Feather River College, a junior college in Quincy, CA from 2009-2010, and completed his college playing career as an offensive lineman at UWEC from 2011-2013. Coach Kiraly graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Feather River College in 2010. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in History/Communications in 2014 from Wisconsin - Eau Claire and completed his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University - Irvine in 2016.
During the past 2 seasons with DVC Football, Coach Kiraly has assisted with the Offensive Line and Tight Ends and contributed to an Offense that ranked in the top 6 in the CCCAA in total offense (2021 & 2022). In working  alongside longtime DVC Offensive Line Coach Dave Garcia, the pair of coaches developed multiple All-Conference players including Jack Seelye (2022), Jacob Spomer (2021), and Isaias Sierra (2021) who was also named CCCAA All-State and All-American (2021). In the 2022 football season DVC finished with a 7-4 record and a Gridiron Bowl Championship against Sierra College. 
 
In his time at Butte College, Coach Kiraly led an offensive line that helped set school records in Single Game Total Yards from Scrimmage (705), Single Game Passing Yards (465), and Single Game Passing Touchdowns (8). From 2018-2019 Butte College carried a record of 17-5 with a 5-0 undefeated Nor-Cal Conference Championship in 2018, and a Gridiron Classic Bowl victory in 2019.  Coach Kiraly’s offensive line included TJ Bass (Tackle/Guard) - 2018 and 2019 2x CCCAA All-American and #1 Ranked Junior College Offensive Guard in the country (2019), Isaak Gutierrez (Center) - 2019 CCCAA All-State Region 1 selection, Brenden Coffey (Tackle) - 2019 All Nor-Cal Conference selection and #3 ranked Junior College Offensive Tackle in the country (2019), and Lane Andersen (Center) - 2018 All Nor-Cal Conference selection. In his two seasons at Butte College Coach Kiraly had four NCAA Division I signees, one NCAA Division II signee and one NAIA signee on the offensive line.  During the 2021 ASC Spring football season as Offensive Line Coach/Run Game Coordinator for the Sul Ross Lobos, Coach Kiraly directed an offensive line unit that included two ASC All-Conference (3rd Team) selections, James White (Tackle) and Ajani Batts (Guard). The offensive line group also forged the path for ASC All-Conference (2nd Team) running back Ozias Wright. Coach Kiraly and his wife, Megan, have two children.
