Diablo Valley lost to Modesto, losing 10-6. Diablo Valley started strong, with early goals from Alenea Loera and Madelynn Lasquete putting them up 2-0.
However, Modesto quickly responded, scoring five unanswered goals in the first quarter to take control.
Despite a resilient effort, including two goals in the fourth quarter by Loera and Sofia Goodson, Diablo Valley couldn't close the gap.
Modesto's balanced attack, led by Maddyn Suess and Molly Kendrick, who both scored multiple goals, ultimately secured the victory.
Diablo Valley's goalie, Sequioa CosgroveLane, made seven saves but couldn't prevent Modesto's relentless offense from sealing the game.
