Vikings ranked 1st in the State

The DVC Women's Basketball team is currently ranked #1 in California according to the latest CCCWBCA Poll.

Head Coach, Ramaundo Vaughn, had this to say about the ranking via twitter, "88 teams play women's basketball in the state of California, and to be ranked No. 1 is a credit to our players and our staff. We ask our kids to play the right way, play for each other, and play hard for 40 minutes. Stay humble and stay hungry. If we do that, we can live with whatever the scoreboard says at the end."

This is the highest ranking for the Vikings since 2015. 

Their next game is tomorrow, January 3rd at Folsom Lake College. Tip off is set for 7:30pm.
