Diablo Valley women's basketball voted 3rd best in state polls

Coach Ramaundo Vaughn's Vikings continue to climb the rungs of women's basketball supremacy in the CCCAA.  The latest CCCWBCA polls cast Diablo Valley in the #3 spot in the state (#2 in the North) with a 12-4 overall record, trailing only the mighty Mt. SAC (17-0) and Sequoias (15-3).

The Vikings currently have a 6-game win streak, also winning 10 of their last 11.  Vaughn's Vikes were crowned champions of the Lady Jaguar Invitational in San Jose and also took the championship in the Costa Classic in San Pablo. They took the consolation bracket in the Solano Tournament.  

This is the highest ranking that Coach Vaughn has achieved during his tenure at Diablo Valley.
