CUPERTINO -- EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Men's
Diablo Valley Men's Track & Field places 2nd overall at the De Anza Invitational, trailing only the host school, De Anza.
* High Jump 6' 7.5" (2nd overall at the meet, 3rd in Big 8, tied for 3rd in Nor Cal)
* Long Jump 21 10.25" (2nd overall at De Anza, tied for 4th in the Big 8, 9th in Nor Cal)
Frank Stephens:
* Long Jump 22' 9.25" (1st overall at the meet, 3rd in Big 8, 6th in Nor Cal)
Raenard McPhee:
* 400m hurdles 57.44s (2nd overall at the meet, 4th in Big 8)
* Triple Jump 42' 11" (4th overall at the meet, 4th in Big 8)
Alexander Goodman:
* Placed 3rd overall in the 3000m Steeplechase (10:30.63)
Kin Wong:
* Placed 2nd overall in the 1500m (4:14.85)

Women's
* Katherine Embody placed 2nd overall at De Anza in the 1500m (5:07.12), good for 8th in the Big 8. Embody was 4th overall in the 800m (2:34.37)
* Danielle Monteiro placed 3rd overall in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:10.07, this time ranks 2nd in the Big 8.
* Dual sport athlete (Track & Soccer), Megan Coppa, made her debut in the 400m dash, she placed 4th overall at the meet (1:03.48)
* Emma Schoenstein placed 4th overall in the 1500m (5:12.48)
* Fiona Beitzel placed 5th overall at the meet in the javelin throw with a mark of 95' 10", improving upon a personal record that she set last week at the Beaver Relays at American River College.
