Concord High graduate Spencer Clark and Troy Owens Jr. of Sacramento both had 13 points as the Diablo Valley College men's basketball earned its sixth victory in its past seven games, 84-63 over College of Alameda on Thursday in the San Jose City Tournament.
Reggie Arthur-Mixon added 10 points for the balanced Vikings (6-3), who were coming off a third-place finish in the DVC Classic with an 83-63 win over Sierra.
Diablo Valley, ranked 11th in Northern California, will face Ohlone at 2 p.m. on Friday in the San Jose event. The Renegades entered the tournament riding a four-game losing streak.
College of Alameda falls to 2-7.
