Len Chaplin |Head water polo coach at CCC and DVC, 1974- 2005. Transferred to DVC in 1986. Teams won nu- merous conference championships and several NorCal titles. Named Coach of the Year several times. Longtime DVC assistant swim coach and during his tenure DVC has won 10 State Swimming titles. Aquatic coach for over 40 years. Former P.E. Division and Department Chair and longtime E.R. nurse at Alta Bates Hospital.
Scott Goucher | Only pitcher in school history to earn All-American honors and win 10 or more games both years at DVC, 1996-97. Holds career records with 201 IP in conference and 284 IP overall. Two time BVC/ Conference Pitcher of the Year, 2nd all-time at DVC with 21 career wins. Career record 20 com- plete games. Great competitor who also earned four career saves and never allowed an inherited runner to score. Hit a home run in only career at bat in 1997 state playoffs. Transfer to Sonoma State. Selected to DVC All Half-Century Baseball Team in 2000. Owns local electrician business with his brother.
Angela Graham | Great softball pitcher 1999-2000. As frosh 7-3, 1.06 ERA earning 2nd team All-BVC honors. In 2000 as a sophomore led Vikings to BVC title. Named Most Valuable Pitcher of BVC and All Nor Cal selection with 16-10 record and 0.96 ERA. Led State in K's with 212. Scholarship and graduated from University of Texas- San Antonio. In 2001, 172 K's and 26 complete games. Senior year (2002) earned 16 wins and 217 K's (2nd best single season in school history). Only at UTSA two years but still ranks 4th all-time in career strikeouts with 395. Professional softball player in Italy in 2004. Firefighter in San Jose.
Tom Greerty | Lineman for DVC football 1964-65. Earned 1st Team All-GGC honors and was team captain in 1965; helped DVC tie then National JC Champion CCSF 16-16, holding OJ Simpson to less than 100 yards rushing. Scholarship to and graduated from Oregon State. Member of infamous "giant killer" OSU team which was inducted into the OSU HOF. JFK School of Law graduate in 1978, practicing attorney for over 30 years. Named Martinez Man of the Year in 1993. Founder of 'Mary's House' in San Pablo and the "Malta Free Clinic" in Oakland.
Ed Hall | Highest winning percentage (.658) of any head football coach in DVC histo- ry. 1983-1994,12 years, compiled 79- 39-2 record. Teams won two GGC titles, 3 bowl appearances and no los- ing seasons. 1989 team finished reg- ular season 10-0 only undefeated season ever at DVC. First ever foot- ball coach at De La Salle HS, 1971-78. Assistant coach at Cal-Berkeley, Los Medanos and DVC. Retired S.F. Police Officer. Has coached football for over forty years!
Kelly McCabe | Tremendous three- sport athlete. All- American Driver water polo player In 2002 and 2005. All-American swimmer specialized in breaststroke in 2003 and 2004. All-Conference basketball selection in 2003-04 season. Varsity swim coach at Clayton Valley HS. Coached varsity water polo, swimming and basketball at Ygnacio Valley High School. Great athlete who could have played any sport at DVC.
Kevin Searls | All Conference cross-country and All NorCal selection in 1976 and 1977. DVC distance track star in 1977-78. In 1978 won Conference Relays 3,000 steeple chase. Transfer to and graduated from Humboldt State Uni- versity. Two-time All-American in both cross-country and track. NCAA T and F Championship qualifier both years in 3,000 meter steeple chase. Head Carondelet HS, XC and track coach eight years. XC teams won 2 NCS titles and 1985 NCS Track Championship. Named 1985 NCS Coach of the Year. DVC, XC Assistant coach 11 years and head coach one season. Owns local contractor business. Longtime president of Asics Aggies Running Club.
